The 2000s

The dawn of the new millennium brought a number of changes. One of the most significant was number one and number two son using more of our resources and spare cash not being unavailable for going track bashing. Number one daughter also made her first appearance which did not assist the situation. This meant even less funds available.

Towards the end of the decade number one son started to show an interest in railways and this was an excuse to get back out there and enjoy travelling round and visit some of the places my yellow pen had yet to discover in the Rail Atlas.

Unfortunately Loco Hauled trains had declined considerably in the 10 or so years I had been away. This was one area it was virtually impossible for him to experience.

This is the first installement of Track Basher and Son.
